We will love, respect, and honor the people made in God’s image, and care about them enough to tell them the truth at all times in all seasons. Knowing truth, we have a responsibility to share it, for that is what sets the captives free. Like the School House Rock song says… knowledge is power!
No Foul Language
People use questionable language in real life all the time, but if you invited us into your home for dinner, it would be rude and inappropriate to use foul language. When you watch a Lone Star Studios production, you’re inviting us into your home and we will not pollute your home environment with words that disrespect you and your loved ones.
No Nudity
We’re well aware nudity is a fact of life. Nudity happens in real life just like it does in the movies, when you least suspect it. We’ve all been there. You invite a group of friends over, or you leave your kids in front of the TV, and you know if you look away or step out of the room for a single moment while the TV is on, then whoomp there it is! Nudity appears on screen out of nowhere sending you scrambling for the remote to turn the station before you experience an awkward situation with your friends, or before your children see it and start asking too many questions you didn’t intend to answer until they get married, if ever. You should feel safe and comfortable in your own home. We believe peoples’ privates are best kept private. So, generally speaking, if a bikini or speedo feels the need to cover it, then so will we. Nothing Disgusting
Violence and other offensive things are another fact of life, but that doesn’t necessarily mean you need to or want to see them. Soldiers return from graphic battles with stress disorders as a result of what they’ve seen, so the scenes people are exposed to and what they see does matter. In today’s world you can’t even watch commercials without seeing something disturbing you didn’t want to see. In general, if it might give you nightmares or make you want to throw up, we’re not going to create it or show it. We’re only interested in creating media that causes you to think on what is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, or praiseworthy. We’re only interested in building people up, not tearing them down, because life is hard enough as it is.
